More Information
At high water (around 12 metres!), the stunning surroundings of the island are submerged except the charming Maitre Ile, with stone cottages and no permanent inhabitants. Minquiers is the perfect getaway for peace and tranquility.
Let's us take you on a voyage and spend approximately 1.30 to 1:45 hours on a sandy beach that is only accessible during certain states of the tide. Marvel at the crystal clear water of the reef and you may even feel tempted to go in for a dip - Bring a picnic, enjoy the sand, sea and tranquility of the Minquiers.
This trip no longer goes to Maitre Ile to protect the many migratory birds that use the island during the nesting season and all RIB trips are based on the tides to maximise your time on the sandbar.

Les Minquiers
Home to one of the largest tidal ranges in the world, explore Jersey’s archipelago and discover a submerged coastal landscape of reefs and islands, revealed at low tide. Walk, wander and swim around this unique habitat before it’s reclaimed by the sea.

St. Catherine’s Bay
St. Catherine's Breakwater and Bay are most popular with both novice and skilled sailors, canoeists and anglers, it is home to St. Catherine's Sailing Club and the Jersey Canoe Club. Originally planned as a harbour for the Royal Navy to counter the threat of a French invasion, the breakwater was started in 1847 but shallow water halted their plans.

Les Ecréhous
Just six miles off the east coast of Jersey, it only takes 15 minutes on a thrilling RIB ride to arrive at Les Ecréhous, a network of reefs and islands. France is so close you’d be forgiven for thinking you might be on French soil. The islands are, however, part of Jersey.
