More Information
The exhibition will showcase work from the Dementia Jersey weekly art sessions run by art teacher Lucy Blackmore. Art Exploration provides an invaluable creative and social outlet for those living with dementia. The group gives participants the opportunity to use art as a visual language, which can give freedom to expression and an increase in confidence.
As a charity, Dementia Jersey’s aim is to help and support people to live well with dementia. The exhibition coincides with the charity’s 2025 campaign for International Alzheimer’s Awareness month in September and will include a pop up tea room to raise funds via donations.
