Greve de Lecq Barracks – The Sergeant’s Suite
The 2 bedroom self-catering apartments at the historic Greve de Lecq Barracks are the perfect place to relax and enjoy exploring the stunning north coast of the Island. Owned and beauitfully restored by the National Trust for Jersey in 2019 these stylish apartments are luxuriously appointed but with respect for the history of the Barracks.

Points of Interest

Petit Port Beach
Tucked away on the island of Jersey, Petit Port Beach is a hidden gem known for its golden sands, clear waters, and peaceful atmosphere. Sheltered by dramatic cliffs, it offers a quieter escape from busier beaches—perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or simply soaking in panoramic views.

Sorel Point
Situated next to a working quarry, this headland has a complex multistage history of moving magma. Beyond the lighthouse built in 1938, the headland stretches out into the sea in a spine of different coloured rocks.

Plémont Bay
This has to be one of Jersey’s most beautiful beaches. Plémont has a natural drama and enchanting beauty all of its own. A sandy cove on the north-west tip of the island with many rock pools, fascinating sea caves, and even a fresh water waterfall.

Les Landes SSI
Perched on the rugged northwest coast and within the Jersey National Park, Les Landes Site of Special Interest (SSI) is a breathtaking expanse where history, nature, and geology collide.

Ouaisné Bay
Ouaisné, the adjoining beach to St. Brelade's Bay is a south-west facing beach and wilder in contrast to the neighbouring St. Brelade's Bay. The two beaches are connected at low tide, or cross the pine-rich headland and walk along the sea wall next to the protected Ouaisné Common towards locals’ favourite, The Smugglers Inn.

Les Blanches Banques
Step into a wild and windswept wonder where golden dunes roll like waves and nature rules with quiet majesty. Les Blanches Banques, Jersey’s largest dune system, is more than just a landscape — it's a living tapestry of coastal adventure, rare wildlife, and ever-changing light.

Orchid Fields at Le Noir Pré
During the spring and summer months Jersey is transformed by the vibrant colours of its native wildflowers. Among the most spectacular are the wild orchids found in The National Trust for Jersey’s ‘Orchid Fields’ at Le Noir Pré in St. Ouen’s Bay.

The Royal Bay of Grouville
The Royal Bay of Grouville, known to locals as Long Beach, has a long stretch of soft golden sand with calm sheltered waters perfect for swimming. You can enjoy water skiing, wakeboarding, banana boat rides and even hire a motor dinghy in summer. Young families will love this friendly beach nestled near the sleepy Gorey Village.

Havre des Pas
Havre des Pas and Greve d'Azette are only a short stroll from St. Helier town centre, so a popular choice for families on an island break. This sheltered south facing beach is drenched with Jersey sunshine and skirted with beautiful art deco-style boardwalks.

Grève de Lecq Beach
This sheltered north facing beach is fringed with wooded slopes and leafy country pubs. A firm favourite with families, with rocks to climb, pools to search for critters in, a sea that’s never too far out even at a low tide and lifeguards during the summer months, all make this beach a winner.

Anne Port Bay
Anne Port’s east facing shingle beach reveals fine sand along most of the beach in mid or low tide and gentle shelving makes for good swimming. This delightful bay enjoys the morning and midday sun and is rarely crowded. A great spot for a morning dip, or if you’re simply looking for some peace and quiet.

Fishermen’s Chapel
On the site of a small 6th century monastic church, sits the Fishermen's Chapel. Built in the 11th-12th century by the Bishop of Coutances, this original timber building was rebuilt in stone. For almost 300 years, it remained a single cell building, til the 14th century, when it was appropriated as a chantry and burial place for a prominent family.

La Hougue Bie Museum
A truly memorable experience that is both thought provoking and peaceful. Unlike many other dolmens, you can stand inside its chamber and feel the atmosphere of this profoundly sacred space. The passage grave is one of the ten oldest buildings in the world.

St Catherine’s Bunker
St Catherine’s Bunker is a remarkable World War Two German fortification and tunnel complex that is a testament to the German forces' hold on the British Channel Islands during the Second World War. Strategically positioned, it formed a crucial part of the German northeastern defences, especially after the Allied invasion of France.

The Anti-Tank Bunkers of St. Aubin’s Bay
Starting opposite the Grand Hotel, there is a lovely seaside walk you can take which will introduce you to four German Resistance Nests. Each Resistance Nest has a Type 631b casemates. These casemates housed a Czechoslovakian 4.7cm PakK 36(t) Anti-Tank Gun with a co-axial MG37(t) machine gun.

Le Moulin de Quétivel Watermill and Tearoom

Strongpoint Plémont
Explore the newly restored headland at Plémont and discover a German Second World War Strongpoint. Strongpoint Plemont was a multi-leveled defence with stunning views of the other Channel Islands and Normandy. You will find remains of mortar, machine gun, anti-aircraft and searchlight bunkers. The site is on cliff paths, please take care.

Le Petit Train Tours
Our unique Little Trains link St Helier with St Aubin, Jersey's historic original harbour. Our trains follow a scenic route on the promenade across St Aubin Bay with a full historical commentary. We have two little trains which can accommodate up to 60 people each which run at regular, frequent times 7 days a week. The journey time between St Helier and St Aubin is 35 minutes. You can board the train at Liberation Square in St Helier, St Aubin Harbour or West Park. Tickets can be purchased on the day from the train driver or our ticket staff.

Here at Lakeys we would love to welcome you onto our wonderful new scenic E-Bike Tours, which have been carefully planned to offer you a fun-filled four hours of adventure, through some of Jersey’s best known spots and hidden treasures. Our ‘Wild West’ tour, will guide you along 50km of cycle paths, shared use tracks, quiet roads and many of Jersey’s own designated ‘Green Lanes’. These tiny little country roads have a 15mph speed limit where cyclists, pedestrians and horses take priority.
